I started this journey on 5th of September by visiting the archaeological site of Delphi. My love for myth, stories, symbolisms, the land and her connection with us led me here. I walked all the way up to the site, carrying my camera and tripod. Tourists passed by holding umbrellas, listening to their audio guides. I had forgotten my hat at the tavern-café that also serves as a bus station, so I silently wished for the sun to hide for a while. And in fact, the sun did hide—a deeply symbolic moment, as I stood near the temple of Apollo, the god of music, healing, and the sun, among other things.
Spirituality is inseparable from storytelling and politics. Prayers and blessings mean little without acknowledging our social systems and our interconnectedness.

At the top, by the stadium, I noticed how tourist culture often reflects the extractive Western mindset, where ancient ruins are reduced to profit. Yet, a young man sketching the stones offered a pleasant surprise. I took some videos and photos, then sat down to ground myself in the earth. The mountains felt as though they were embracing us, standing both imposing and majestic. I tapped into my feminine wisdom, carrying with me the metaphorical fire of Apollo to bring to Rotterdam.

The next stop was near Anavra, a visit to The Evergreen Project to meet Katerina and Kostas and learn more about their project and their story. More are coming soon. Until then, don't forget to live your life to the fullest.
Thank you for traveling with me! xxx
Love, Dimitra
