Announcement! I am starting from Delphi on the 5th of September! Stay tuned!
For the last couple of days, I’ve been in Athens. The weather is really hot, and the traffic, cement, and exhaust gas make the conditions challenging. I arrive with my huge backpack to arrange the last preparations and time feels like it’s moving really slowly. I visit the center of Athens to buy equipment for the journey. I try to embrace the slowness of life, even though the fast pace sometimes seems so attractive and so familiar. Each day I have huge mood swings, and I keep pushing myself to move forward and begin my journey. Arranging all the small details is challenging. I always have to check my limits. I have two poles—passiveness or burnout—and finding balance in the middle, while still moving, is the recipe. Remembering to breathe and feel my body.
I stay in the family house; the memories are everywhere. Over the last couple of years, I’ve learned to be alone in order to find my way toward inner independence—although I am always within communities, because collaboration is the secret ingredient to thrive, like the ecosystem. For 2025 my intention was authenticity, true connections, and meaningful present moments. While I’m in Athens, boiling at night and hearing neighborhood dogs barking, I am staying in the present moment to express my gratitude. I wouldn’t be here without your support. In a collapsing society where competition and profit are the main norm, with physical and mental health deteriorating, I see a fresh wave of people—like a sea wave—bringing change and collaboration, standing next to each other and daring to resist.
Thank you for your support! Thank you for believing in me and this project. It means a lot to me. See you soon in Delphi. xxx
Love,Dimitra
